Jennifer Day is a British contemporary artist based in Hythe, Kent.

She attended the Canterbury Institute of Art and Design receiving a Diploma in Fine Art, and distinction in Painting.

Jennifer worked as a graphic designer and picture editor for a number of years but is now focusing on her art.

 

She has worked with many mediums over the years, including oils, watercolour, collage and mixed media,  but is best known for her atmospheric abstract acrylic paintings. She likes to experiment with textures and vivid colour palletes. Her work is inspired by her surroundings, living by the sea and close to nature.

Jennifer creates individual pieces but also works on a commission basis.
